The Tearfund  Drumlanrig challenge is organised and supported by members of churches from Dumfries and Nithsdale. Their aim is to provide participants with a memorable and enjoyable cycling challenge in the glorious scenery and traffic free roads around Drumlanrig Castle, and at the same time raise funds for Tearfund. Tearfund is a Christian charity dedicated to bringing relief, hope and a future to some of the worlds poorest communities and to those suffering from natural and man-made disasters

Participants have the choice of a 88 miles or a 50 miles cycling challenge. Whatever route you choose you have the added challenge of tackling the copious supplies of sandwiches and home baking provided by the church members at the feed stations. With this event having the unique feature of not timing  the lunch break, you can sample as much of the food on offer as you like without it impacting on your time

The times for 2013 are here in EXCEL or PDF We also have some PHOTOS

2012 pictures of most people here PHOTOS, feel free to download for yourself. They are in order as you appeared just after the second morning water station or at the end of the afternoon ride. Some more pictures here EXTRA PICS
